If its not like the movies, thats how it should be

Im forever wishing that i could live my teenage life in another era!!!
This post is inspired by all my favourite 80s' and 90's films and TV shows;
Prince Of Bel Air
Clueless
Powerpuff Girls
Grease
Dirty Dancing

Here are my favourite looks which have been modernised into the world of fashion we now live in!
I loved the whole Philadelphia ghetto vibe that Will Smith brought to the show. Here are my favourite items Bel Air - Esque. A mix of leather, stonewash denim, hipster dungarees and printed slogan tees.

1.Asos Dungarees £38
2. The Ragged Priest Mother Trucker Snapback Cap £35

7.Lion Head chunky Chain Link Necklace £5.99 Ebay
8. Sunshine JuJu Jellies £25.00
9.Asos Creole Triangle Hoops
10.Vision Streetwear Tee £30

Clueless is my guilty pleasure. I know that it is as cheesy as a pack of wotsits but thats why i love it! I love the scenery and the clothes! And how old and weird it seems to me now, the oversized films and the editing of the whole film is too cute. A mix of checks, prints and pinks!

1. Motel Eddie Dungaree Jumpsuit In Daisy Print £60.00

I always wanted to be the red one! I remember acting out with my friends in infant school and we'd bicker over who was the 'coolest' So i have modernised the whole look and found mature girly dresses which portray each of the Puff Girls looks as we've grown up with them. A mix of superhero colours and designs.

1. ASOS Ribbed Full Skater Dress £28.00
2. Motel Catalina Dress £38.00

5. AQ AQ Yoko Maxi Dress with Thigh Split £80.00
 6. ASOS Sheer Panel Midi Dress £25.00

Dont even get me started on Grease. I used to do Rock 'N' Roll dancing and i absolutley loved it. This is my favourite 70's inspired film. I love the dancing, the singing and the fashion. This film also holds a special place in my heart as i played Frenchy at a school play. Rocking the pink wig - BACKWARDS.

2.ASOS Glitter Cat Eye Sunglasses £12.00

My Mum introduced me to this film, (Shoutout to Tracey) and thanks to her it is my favourite chick flick. I loved her innocent and naive character and the love story between her  Swayze. That lift, Carrying Watermelons and Dirty Dancing. If you havent watched this you should be ashamed. Baby loved her denim and dungarees and plimsoles which i have inspired in my Mood board of Baby inspired looks.

Aloha friendlings,
I love the whole fluorescent trend and wanted to share my love of all things bold and bright with you!
Here is my Fluorescent Wishlist! Came across some fabulous clothing and accessories which look like theyve come straight out of Josephs Technicolour Dreamcoat wardrobe!
Enjoy :-)
Love this Topshop Leopard Print Cami £26
Perfect with a pair of White shorts or Navy Disco Pants!

Love this cute lemon tassle crop top from Topshop! £12 Absolute barg in my opinion! Love the colour Yellow this season! Ray of sunshine on your body! Perfect with a tan.
You either love them or hate them! The 90's craze is back again and if you want to look like your Barbie doll  i say go for it! Dont be jel, grab these cute pink and coral jellies from Topshop £20.

This adorable neon socks are available in several shades of fluro fabulousness. The cute lace trim adds a bit of glamour to the sock itself! Pair them with a pair or black gladiators and rock the Jesus look this summer for only £3.50!

This beastly Ragged Priest Tie Dye Denim Jacket is to die for. I would literally die if i had this on my back!
Ragged Priest i bow down to this Tie Dye collection. Im also obsessed with spikes as i feel
like its a fashionable must have weapon. Fierce and Fluro! Crying as its £95, will have to look for a
lookalike on Ebay!

Lulutrixabelle you beautiful, beautiful person. I saw this on her Ebay Wishlist and i am so grateful!
Ive already purchased this Kimono for my Summer Holiday! Perfect with a block coloured bikini!
Such a barg at £10.99!

Another Ebay Must-have! This Neon Cut out fringed bikini. So many copies of
this classic. At £7 you cannot go wrong! Also in tons of other colours!
Every girl needs a clutch. Not just a clutch but a Neon clutch! My personal favourite is
the Royal Blue! This Envelope Clutch is the perfect size finished with Metal corners.
Only £10 from Ebay! Ill end up getting them all!

There are no words. These crazy tights are a-m-a-zing. I first saw them in Paramores Music Video
'Im into you' and wondered what the heck Hayley had on her legs! Intrigued i found out
that it wasnt just paint dripping on her legs it was these PVC tights from Urb Clothing. They
are the coolest things i have ever seen. I was speechless and thats not an often occurance.
I was also speechless at the price of £50.
LYD, Move over LBD the hottest trend right now is a Yellow Dress. A must have for every girls wardrobe.
This Asos dress was originally £41 but on ebay it is £21.99! I love the pretty detail of the lace and how it
is outlined in white. Delicate and feminine yet with the sexy cutout waist and backless detail.

Hoped you're feeling inspired, i now want to go to an 80s roller disco in half of these outfits!
Lots of Love

The crazy people i call Family

Just a normal Sunday in the Scarborough household..
This idea started by me having a fashion show in front of my Mum and Nan on which outfit to decide on that evening. I then showed off my prized possessions that are my Neon Pink Jeffrey Campbells. I joked with my nan and the outcome is this.
3 Generations of smiling women who are wearing the same pair of shoes and each of us are crazy.
P.s yes Nanna you have been exposed on the internet and for 81 years of age you look marvellous!
Thankyou for constantly keeping us entertained with your Speeding Ticket Scandal, Falling asleep in your dinner and Skiing on the Wii <3

Dress Topshop Sale £18
Jeffrey Campbells Christmas Present.
Mum attempts first and struggles through the jungle that is my back-garden. She makes it out alive. We then move onto me and i am a pro as i have had many drunken practices in them! We then move onto my Nan who seems to be struggling, however shes determined and puts up a good fight! She will be 5ft 8 and theres no stopping her! Reliving her 80's dance era and she finally does it!

This one kills me
Started from the Bottom..

 Now we're here!
These Photos bring my so much joy!

Lots of Love Amelia

Met Ball 2013

Ive been neglecting my poor blog recently and the sun is shining and I thought 'Hey lets do a Blog Post!'
So the latest thing in Showbiz has been the Met Ball 2013 and ive been having a nose at photos and outfits on Twitter and Instagram and I lalalove the Punk theme. Here are my 5 favourite outfits;

Cara Deli looks devine in this V neclined studded dress. Her figure would look flawless in a bin bag but luckily she dressed up for the occasion. I love the half up/half down hairdo complete with corn rows. (Reminds me of my younger days)

Jennifer Lawrence looks so chique in this outfit. The embellished design on the dress is so feminine and the red lipstick and the head dress add that extra bit of glam rock.

I think this is my favourite outfit overall. She looks like how I would imagine the female Jesus to look. Im loving the biblical vibes in this outfit complete with crown and matching dangling earrings. All reign KP!

Anne Hathaway has gone to the light side! The porcelain beauty swapped her dark locks for punky peroxide blonde! The feathery cuffs and the sheer detail leave the rest for imagination..

The ever so controversial Miley Cyrus has gone from bad to crazy! This outfit is marmite-esque. You either love it or hate it! I think i love it! However i personally wouldnt go for electrocuted hair. Sack the Hair Stylist! Thank goodness she has the bone structure to pull it off! I love the black fishnet look dress which finishes off her bold outfit perfectly.

All my love chickies,
Amelia xoxoxo

Girls rule the world in the Music Biz

Waddup!
Today I am just posting a short Blog Post as I am going to Tie Dye to my hearts content and complete coursework. But I'll be back very soon!

As my daily routine is revolved around music, I have discovered 5 new Artists who have creeped onto the Music scene.

1.Iggy Azalea. Blonde pony tailed Rap artist. I think she is Fabulous. I love her style, her controversial lyrics and her Australian twist on rapping. She also raps about her life as a teenager and how she struggled to make anything of herself. I also love how she had 'Beef' with Azealia Banks over Twitter.
Genre: Alternative/Rap
Musical Comparisons: An Australian version of Nicki Minaj, minus the ASS.
Best Known Song: Work

 2. Bridget Mendler. The New Squeaky Clean Pop Princess who has burst onto the scene. Her Disney Esque image and cutesy song 'Ready Or Not' which can i add is the most catchiest song EVER has already got her 30 Million Views on Youtube.
Genre: Pop
Musical Comparisons: Britney back in the 90's but has a bigger set of lungs and a certain Carley Rae Jepsen feel to her.
Best Known Song: Ready Or Not

 3. Sevyn. She was featured on Chris Browns album Fortune and her voice is as smooth as a Coffee. Shes so versatile. One minute shes belting her heart out in a ball gown and next shes skanking in some dungarees talking about getting down and dirty. Love it.
Genre: R&B
Musical Comparisons: A younger Kelly Rowland with the dance moves of Ciara.
Best Known Song: Touch Me, Party Hard, Cadillac.

4. Aluna George has the cutest, mellow, delicate voice i have ever heard. I also love her quirky name which i relate to with the moon (Lunar) She appeared on the song White Noise with Disclosure. Which was the start for her musical destiny. Shes fierce and sexy yet in her music she portrays a meaningful message. Check out her Video for song Attracting Flies which features Aluna as several fairytale characters in a Street/Ghetto scenery.
Genre:R&B
Musical Comparisons: A hint of an old Nelly Furtado.
Best Known Song: White Noise, Attracting Flies.

Ive left the best till last!
5. Santigold. Credit to my Big Bro for showing me her. The quirky pop sensation has been on the music scene for 5 years so I will be surprised if you havent heard of her. Just let me be you Santigold!! She has so much swag and I love her husky voice and her alternative image. Her music has also been headlined on Adverts such as Barclays, Samsung and V05.
Genre: Alternative
Musical Comparisons: Style Inspiration M.I.A but her voice is like no one elses.
Best Known Songs: L.E.S Artistes - My favourite
Disparete Youth - Barclays
Say Aha - Samsung Advert
The Creator - V05

So go wild! Change your music taste today and check one of these ladies out!
Lots of Love
Amelia
